The first two episodes of Paramount+’s reboot of “Frasier” aired on CBS to an average of 2.23 million viewers.
The first episode of the new series, which debuted at 9:15 p.m. on CBS after the Tuesday airing of “Big Brother,” attracted 2.11 million viewers overall and received a 0.19 rating in the key 18-49 broadcast demo, according to Nielsen live-plus-same-day data. Viewers were excited to see Kelsey Grammer reprise his role as Frasier Crane from the original series.
With 2.35 million viewers and a 0.21 rating, the second episode of the new series, which aired at roughly 9:53 p.m., had somewhat better viewership.
Despite being a Paramount+ original, the “Frasier” revival debuted with a special two-episode broadcast on CBS on Tuesday, October 17. The 10-episode season’s upcoming episodes will only be available to stream on Paramount+, with new episodes premiering every Thursday.
Since its debut on Paramount+ on Thursday, “Frasier” has ranked as the No. 1 original comedy premiere in terms of reach, as well as the No. 1 title in the U.S. and Paramount+’s overseas markets in subscriber reach.

Prior to the premiere of “Frasier,” the new episode of “Big Brother” had the night’s highest audience and rating, with 3.13 million viewers and a 0.48 rating. Following the conclusion of the second episode of “Frasier,” “FBI True” ended the night at 10:28 p.m. with 1.41 million viewers and a 0.16 rating score. With an average viewership of 2.46 million and an average rating of 0.31, the network’s lineup ranked third among the main broadcasters for the night in terms of both viewership and rating.
Additionally, NBC’s “The Voice” secured the most audience of the evening with 5.91 million people, while ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” received the highest demo score of the evening, 0.58.
