The first official image from Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 indicates the recasting of the lead role, Christopher Robin.
A new trailer for Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 has been released, confirming the recasting of a key character. The first horror rendition of the iconic children’s fable, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, was released earlier this year following terrific online buzz. Despite receiving poor reviews, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey has amassed a sizable cult following, and a sequel was confirmed in January, before the first film’s wider distribution.
The official Twitter account for Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey has released the first peek images from Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. The official first look is a photograph of a camera’s LCD screen, which was posted alongside an announcement that the horror film is now in production. The shot, which referenced Christopher Robin, depicted a young man who appeared afraid. Look at the image below:
@poohbandh tweeted on 2nd September debuting the return of the Christopher Robin character to the Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey sequel:

The person depicted in the tweet did not resemble the actor who played Christopher Robin in the first Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, which led to some confusion regarding this image. That actor was Nikolai Leon, who has few acting credits. Leon had only been in one other major motion picture before Blood and Honey, that is, The Killing Tree.
Later, the page updated to clarify “This is Christopher Robin,” clearing up any confusion. They assured that once further details regarding Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey were made public, “all will be revealed.”
This is Christopher Robin. All will be revealed 🐻🍯🍿

Finally, Christopher Robin’s recasting was confirmed for the second time.
The recasting of Christopher Robin is intriguing as production on Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 begins. Though a recasting would normally be attributed to contractual or other reasons, the tweets appear to imply that there is some intention, which would be “revealed” when the sequel is released. More information will most likely be published in the coming months as production on Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 continues.
Another tweet from @poohbandh attempts to build anticipation to the upcoming sequel indicating that ‘all will be revealed’:
We did! All we be revealed why in the movie
